Lily Shearer (Murriwarri & Ngemba)
Director
Lily Shearer is a proud citizen of the Murrawarri Republic & Ngemba Nation (north-west NSW/south-east QLD) woman with 30+ years’ experience in developing new Aboriginal business and Art foundations. She has led first Peoples Cultural Development, Arts Management and in Theatre and performance making.
In co-founding Moogahlin Performing Arts, a First Peoples company in Redfern, Sydney NSW, Lily’s vision was to put in to practice the principle of ownership for First Peoples Australian communities by facilitating the handover of the final Gathering Ground project from Pact Youth Theatre to Moogahlin Performing Arts in 2010. A process outlined in Protocols of Engagement: ‘Community Cultural
Development’ Encounters an Urban Aboriginal Experience (2009). This process provided leadership opportunities for local First Peoples Australian performance practitioners and provided new opportunities for emerging local First Peoples Australian theatre makers and practitioners.

Joe is a transformation executive and imaginative leader, with a solid track record for providing enterprise value in start-up, steady state, and turnaround situations. Experience with multi-product, ICT, corporate service, Finance and asset management delivery solutions. Executive Management experience, down to working level, in Finance, IT, Project Management, Customer Service, and Supply Chain Management.
Mark Jones
Strategic Advisor
Mark is an experienced executive who has held a variety of roles during his extensive career within the private and public sectors. His experience in people management has been gained in the mining, rail, engineering and manufacturing industries.Through a diverse career in positions such as facilitating Best Practice methodologies, Quality Management, Work, Health and Safety systems, Administration Management, Human Resource Management, Hire and Service, Operations Management and Chief Operating Officer. For the last 10+ years Mark has held positions with BHP Billiton and Yancoal doing Commercial and Supply Management on expansion projects and most recently working with Transport for NSW in Strategic Procurement, including heading up Plant hire Services, Category Management, Innovation and Transformation and General Manager. A passionate people leader, known for continuous improvement and innovation in people, process and systems.
